Sustainability

Q Center is a longtime advocate of environmental practices and has always been involved in green efforts. In fact, we’re an IACC Certified Green Star venue, which means sustainability is a key part of our planning process for every event.

OUR GREEN PRACTICES

  • Intensive recycling program we recycle everything, paper, cans, glass to toner cartridges and carpet squares.
  • Paper is purchased from a manufacturer through a mill where they are powered 100% on emission-free wind power.
  • Organic Composting from our kitchen is composted and sent to local farmers. We then purchase the produce they grow. Truly a full-circle process.
  • Cleaning, six of our most frequently used products are all Green Seal® certified.
  • Biodegradable Compostable Disposable Products our “plastic” cups and straws are all 100% compostable. Wheater it is made from cornstarch or upcycled marine waste you can be assured that we are plastic free.
